Motorola Unveils The First Book-style Foldable Phone, Razr Fold, During CES 2026

She announced Motorola Officially announced the first book-style foldable phone in its history, which bears the name Razr Fold, during its participation in the CES 2026 exhibition. The phone represents a new step for the company after years of focusing on Razr’s clamshell-style foldable phones.
The Razr Fold comes with a large internal LTPO screen measuring 8.09 inches and with a resolution of 2K, which places it in the category of foldable phones with large screens. The phone also includes a 6.56-inch external screen, which allows the phone to be used normally without the need to open it in many cases.
As for the cameras, Motorola provided the phone with a triple rear camera system, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYTIA sensor, along with a 50-megapixel wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 3 times optical zoom. The phone also supports video recording with Dolby Vision technology.
Regarding the selfie cameras, the phone comes with a 32-megapixel camera built into the external screen, and another 20-megapixel camera inside the foldable screen.
Motorola revealed that the Razr Fold will offer a set of artificial intelligence features, including Catch Me Up and Next Move, which aim to improve the daily use experience. The phone also supports the Moto Pen Ultra smartphone, which enhances productivity.
When available in the market, the Razr Fold will be available in two colors: Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White, but Motorola has not yet revealed the full technical specifications of the device. The company also did not announce the price or the official launch date in the various markets, stressing that these details will be revealed later in the coming period.
