A New Technology For Nano

Engineer Muhammad Jawad Mohammadi, one of the company’s directors, said that the use of nanoparticles in concrete contributed to significantly improving its resistance to compression and bending and reducing its permeability, stressing that the new development addresses many of the shortcomings of traditional concrete by enhancing its microscopic structure and reducing internal rarefaction.
He explained that the company has relied in recent years on scientific research and nanotechnology to produce advanced concretes used in major national projects, including the Niayesh Tunnel and the metro and airport projects.
Tests showed that self-compacting nanoconcrete had a 2.3-fold increase in compressive strength, a 2.8-fold increase in bending resistance, and a 5.6-fold increase in electrical resistance, in addition to enhancing cohesion with reinforcing bars by 2.2 times compared to regular concrete.
Mohammadi pointed out that the improved structural advantages of this type of concrete allow reducing the dimensions of construction sections and reducing the weight of structures, making it suitable for high-rise buildings and projects with special requirements.
He concluded by explaining that the aim of these technologies is to improve the quality of construction in the country through knowledge products based on the latest developments in nanotechnology, stressing that these steps represent a real bridge between scientific research and industry.
