Your childhood dreams of eating Halloween candy for breakfast just came true.

Dunkin’ is kicking off spooky season with a new Candy Bar Latte, the brand tells Food & Wine. The drink hits national menus today, joined by the return of several seasonal fan favorites.

The Massachusetts-based chain clearly knows what its fans crave. The beloved Spider Specialty Doughnut is crawling back into bakery cases, bringing its mischievous charm along for the ride. First introduced in 2017the treat was described as a “doughnut frosted with orange icing with a sweet-not-scary eight-legged doughnut creature on top.”

Since then, this sugary mascot has developed quite the personality. Following a recent makeover, the Spider doughnut went full influencer last year — even “hacking” into Dunkin’s social media accounts with tongue-in-cheek posts. Now, it’s back as the perfect companion to the new Candy Bar Latte.

The latte itself is an espresso-based drink layered with syrup that blends chocolate, toffee, pretzel, and peanut butter flavors — essentially, a liquid version of the best parts of the candy bowl. It’s finished with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and a sprinkle of crumbled candy bar pieces. Order it hot or iced.

“When we set out to create the Candy Bar Signature Latte, our goal was simple: to capture the fun of Halloween in a cup! We wanted that nostalgic, playful flavor that instantly takes you back to your trick-or-treat days,” a Dunkin’ spokesperson tells Food & Wine. “It’s just the right mix of chocolate, toffee, and peanut butter to give that classic candy bar flavor.”

Prefer your treats spider-free? The Halloween Munchkins Bucket is the safer (and sweeter) bet. The mega-pack includes 50 sprinkle-topped chocolate doughnut holes, and the reusable bucket doubles as a candy container for Halloween night.

For those who can’t get enough of the Spider doughnut’s chaotic charm, Dunkin’ is also releasing a 10-piece merchandise collection on October 16. Each item, available online and in select stores, features the seasonal character — from a plush Spider Doughnut Onesie Costume to collectible keychains. Prices start at $8, according to a Dunkin’ representative.

Of course, opinions on the ultimate Halloween candy are as divided as ever. The Candy Bar Latte marks a new direction for Dunkin’s Halloween lineup. In 2024, the brand’s only themed beverage was the Potion Macchiato — a blend of marshmallow ube syrup and espresso that quickly became a cult favorite. That same year, the Spider doughnut got a glow-up of its own, trading orange icing for purple glaze and keeping its signature Munchkin “body” intact.
