I don’t mind ads on a site (how could I?), and pictures are part of the experience reading things online — what’s the point of gorgeous displays and massive bandwidth if we can’t have vibrant content?

Unfortunately, that doesn’t translate to an E Ink tablet, so Instapaper eliminates all that.

Instapaper condenses web articles into just text and limited photos. It makes it easier to read on anE Ink tabletbut also doesn’t use up much data if your connection is less-than-reliable.

Less data means it can be used offline, allowing me to read stories in areas without Wi-Fi.

It’s also just a pleasant viewing experience. I get a few pictures and relevant links if needed, but the rest is text, which is easy to view.
