Why Thousands Of Families Are Racing To Bunnings Tonight: ‘Wouldn’t Miss It’

Families will flock to Bunnings stores nationwide tonight as the hardware giant hosts free Halloween celebrations across Australia.

On October 30, Bunnings is rolling out its Halloween Family Nights – an evening packed with frightful fun at its stores nationwide.

Families visiting their local Bunnings store can expect activities like hands-on D.I.Y workshops, trick or treat stations, petting zoos and ghoulish games.

The event runs from 5pm to 7pm and bookings are recommended. Secure a spot at your local store here.

Check the Bunnings website for details about store-specific activities or ring ahead.

Bunnings Chief Operating Officer Ryan Baker said the event was a great opportunity to celebrate the spooky season.

‘Bunnings has always been about community, and we’re thrilled to provide a safe and family friendly experience for locals to come together and enjoy the thrills of Halloween,’ Ryan said.

‘Last year, we saw more than 57,000 attendees at our Halloween family nights, and this year we’re making the celebrations even better as more Aussies embrace the spirit of the spooky season.’

The free pop-up experience at the Alexandria store invites brave visitors into a darkened room filled with eerie décor and interactive animatronics

It’s not the only surprise that the Aussie retailer has in store this Halloween.

For those wanting a full fright-mode experience, the Alexandria store in Sydney has unveiled a first-of-its-kind immersive Halloween pop-up: the Bunnings Scarehouse.

Open from 4pm to 7pm, the Scarehouse is a free pop-up experience that invites brave visitors into a darkened room filled with eerie décor and interactive animatronics.

Venture through a shadowy door to discover a pumpkin patch, graveyard, witch’s lair and twisted funhouse – recommended for children aged eight and above.

Spotted something delightfully ghoulish? All of the featured characters and décor can be purchased in-store, so you can create your very own scarehouse at home.

This year, Bunnings has expanded its Halloween range, cementing its place as the top spot for eerie essentials.

Alongside traditional pumpkins and lanterns, you’ll find character inflatables and show-stopping animatronics.

Whether you’re seeking creepy crafts, a haunted house vibe or just some trick-or-treat treats, Bunnings promises plenty of spooky fun for families across Australia tonight.
