Sadio Manes Fingerprint Saves Senegal From Losing To The Democratic Republic Of Congo

The first half ended in a goalless draw, despite complete control by the Senegalese team. With this draw, Senegal topped the Group D standings with four points, superior on goal difference to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In a second match for the same group, Benin beat Botswana 1-0, occupying third place with three points, while Botswana remained in fourth place with no points.
